RecommendedFern is awesome. For Charlotte it is the center of vegan and vegetarian culinary arts. We came down for the VegFest but decided to go directly over to Fern since the festival was so poorly organized and executed. Thank you Fern because that would of been a wasted trip without you! We caught the brunch menu and it was awesome! Every time I’m in Charlotte I’ll stop by for some grub! — eating brunch at Fern, Flavors From The Garden.
Waitress was rude to me and made me throw away my smoothie I had brought in from Earth Fare while she allowed the girl across from me to keep her bottle of aloe...my girlfriend loves this place..I was discriminated against :(

We were here visiting from Michigan and stopped at Fern for my vegetarian daughter's 17th biirthday. Our waitress was super sweet and helpful, and the food was wonderful! We had the Reuben, chicken parmesan and broccoli Alfredo. Portions were big enough for us to take home leftovers and tasty enough to convince my daughter's "Midwestern" friend hat a meatless meal is not only possible but can also be very enjoyable. Wish we would have had room for dessert!
As a non vegan or vegetarian I absolutely loved it and will totally go back!
Used to be my absolute favorite vegan/vegetarian place (has a great ambiance!) but I guess new management has taken over since they moved. At our last experience they were extremely rude to us, to the point we won’t go back.
