I am a patient for prostate problems. I have run out of my finasteride, and Flo max a while ago , was getting the prescriptions filled automatically . Then they stopped. I called the office to get them refilled, like you would in a normal situation. Instead of just accommodating me. The woman was quick, and gave me a fax number to take to the pharmacy , and ask them to send prescription requests. Who dropped the ball ? I have been being treated by Doctor Ferlise for 9 years. He explains things very thoroughly, and was very professional. I use the office on Lacey Road. The Toms River location is way more hectic.

He is very proactive. Always thoroughly explains procedures beforehand. His office staff is very cooperative & friendly.
Fantastic. I had prostate surgery for BPH by Dr. Ferlise and I could not have had a better experience. He is a caring, compassionate and highly skilled surgeon and makes you feel very comfortable and confident. Couldn’t recommend him more highly.
After spending the night in the emergency room for pain related to kidney stones, I contacted Victor's office in the morning to schedule an appointment as I was directed to do by hospital staff. I called in the morning and received the recording that I was 5th in the que and waited 40 minutes to speak to someone to schedule an appointment. My appointment lasted all of 6 minutes before Dr. Ferlise told me to "get another doctor". When I tried to present documented clinical data that was disputing his views, he became dismissive and condescending. And when I refused an exam (because by then I had no faith in his abilities), his only worry was the potential litigation he could face--not my health.
I am so disappointed to share that I am extremely unhappy with Dr. Ferlise. I am a Stage 4 colon cancer patient and I felt the two urology appointments were rushed. Dr. Ferlise said to see him again in four months. But I truly didn't receive any guidance on what to do -- and I am still having concerning urology issues. My Primary Doctor has been so much more helpful. Feeling very disheartened.
I had trouble finding his office - 2 buildings, same number. I called to get directions; the phone was not answered for over 10 minutes. I found his office by walking. I stayed on the phone when I entered his reception room. His phone was ringing, and there were 4 receptionists in the cubicle. I stood there for several minutes in front of the cubicle - the phone was never answered.
