Beware!!!! We stayed here because of the convenient location near the Hollywood Bowl but our stay at Fenix Hollywood was anything but. When we arrived to our hotel room, the code didn’t work. Tried to call the front desk— never picked up. Instead, they only replied back to their DMs which took forever. They gave us more codes to use after that; all of which didn’t work! They even asked us to leave our luggage in the hallway in-front of our room and go to the concert. What a joke. I asked to give us another room to use to ... read more

Since there is no front desk, the hotel seemed more like an airbnb than a hotel. The room was roomy, the bed was very comfortable, the water pressure was great. It was very clean. The washer/dryer was a plus. Convenient location to Hollywood boulevard, dining and the Metro train. The downside is that it's very noisy from street traffic. I would rate it as a three-star rather than four star. It seemed a bit skimpy on the amenities. Only one fork? No glasses? Dimly lit hallway?

I had an absolutely horrible experience with the parking situation at this hotel. I reserved a parking spot ahead of time, only to arrive and find that the assigned spot was too small for my car. I was instructed by the hotel to park in a different spot, which I did, trusting that the staff had provided me with a valid alternative. Extremely disappointing experience — do not rely on their parking I had an absolutely terrible experience with Fenix Hotel. I reserve parking a week in advance, only to arrive on the day I needed it and discover that there was no parking available for my car. I was initially told that they were contacting a towing service to resolve the issue, so I waited for over an hour.
