There were some communication problems (too many cooks...) between the owner, the materials purchaser, the crew and ourselves which caused problems, and also unforeseen issues with how the fence we were replacing had been installed decades before that -through no fault of FMI- cause significant delays on our project. Did a great job. I was told it would be a 2 day job and they did it in 1 day. Very polite and friendly.
Nice people to work with, great building crew! The fence was completed in less than a day and looks great! Exceeded my expectations. The only issue was when they were coming. Waited around all day Tuesday, nothing. Called Wednesday and they pushed me back to Thursday, then had truck issues so didn't come until Friday. Things happen, I get that, but the communication could have been better.
The crew chief needed an interpreter. Prior to their arrival, I had expressed my concern about a language barrier when I was told his name. I was assured there would not be an issue. He could not even measure a straight line away from my house. He measured at a 45 degree angle. Luckily, I caught it. I did not have a clear copy of the contract, only an illegible copy, so I could not read measurements or notes. It had been 25 days since the contract was written. It was a great experience
Showed up on time, and completed the fense in one day. Very pleased with the price and results. Both men who installed it, were very polite, and professional.
