My family and I visited for the second time today. Meal great, customer service lovely, and a personal inspiring message of hope from the owner, superb!!!!

Best catfish and shrimp I have had in a very long time. Fried green tomatoes, fried okra, yams and corn bread....all are AMAZING!! I can't wait to go back.

Love love love! Been twice now in Oceanside and feels like I'm going to my Maw Maw's house for dinner. Real down home southern cookin. Authentic and mouth watering in a relaxed environment. Friendly service very laid back. Sampler is my fave four meats and four sides so you get a great variety. Bomb corn bread and cookies. Love supporting local business too. Love this place! The food is out of this world, the service is fantastic, and the customers are cool too. We live in long beach but we like this place so much we jump on our bikes and 1 hour and 15 minutes later we are enjoying a great experience. If you ever want to open another restaurant, long beach would love you. Until then, we will keep on coming to Oceanside!
In Oceanside for a soccer tourney. Just had dinner here. Food was awesome so flavorful and tender. We split the sampler plate baby back ribs, tri tip, pulled pork, sausage and 4 sides. All were great. Tasted the fried chicken , the seasoning was delicious and the chicken really tender (better than Roscoes) Only bad thing was I am to full for the peach cobbler. So I guess I'm coming back tomorrow for dessert.
