So good!!!! Tri tip, and beef ribs are beyond yummy!
We had the Tri-Tip with Macaroni and Cheese......it is fabulous! I have never gone there for a meal, but I have had take out a few times now.
I was so disppointed that seating could be an issue I just walked out after a very long time of patronage. Single male going to eat spends at least $38- $42 any given time at least once a month 2-3 time at farmer's market to be seated near the bathroom and waitress not really wanting to seat me up front big tables is for "6" more I have sat at that particular table many times today it's 3:00 pm restaurant at maybe 30 % full. Just seat me Went to Phil's BBQ no table issue food as good.
I just ate at Felix's for the first time, and I cannot wait to go back. It was AMAZING. sweet tea, corn bread, fried chicken, collard greens, STL style ribs, Mac and cheese, fried catfish...... this place is a God send out here in Cali. I called my momma and my grandma back home just to make sure they weren't in the kitchen. Then I called everyone I know and told them they had to go to taste a little heaven. even if you're not real close to oceanside, it's worth the drive.
We did the brunch buffet so we could sample everything. No regrets here, money well spent. We WILL be back! The staff was very nice and friendly and the building is new and located in a nice area.
Felix's is my go to place when I'm craving the best food on this planet- southern cuisine!! I always get the catfish filet, fried okra, collard greens, cornbread, and of course - sweet tea! Everything is cooked to perfection each time I come and eat. Their online ordering is simple and very convenient. The staff is friendly and always accommodating. Thank you for the excellent food. It is such a great place to eat.
Everytime I am in Cali for business I eat here, including today. Had chicken and waffles and it was dynamite. Great bbq and sides as well. Seriously authentic southern cooking, friendly staff!!!
We were only in town for two days and had to eat here twice! The food is AMAZING and the SWEET TEA is DIVINE! We are from Texas and Alabama and we KNOW good southern food. This is the best! Whatever you order, it will surpass your expectations. Brisket, Alabama Fried Chicken, Red Beans and Rice, Mac and Cheese, etc, etc. Don't forget to order Red Velvet cake or their yummy Hummingbird cake!
