If the Ritz Carlton and the history channel had a love child after a historical yet tragic event in Pennsylvania. This place is a treasure, comfortable and posh yet unpretentious and warm. The Restaurant and pub is craveable and delicious, have a pint, make friends and tell a tale.
My wife and I spent a long weekend here and loved it. The staff was super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Our room and bathroom were clean. The building was awesome and just the feel we were looking for in Gettysburg. Location was great as we walked to the town square and didn't have to drive and deal with parking. Zero complaints from us - we would definitely stay here again!
My family and I stayed at The Federal Pointe Inn Gettysburg and were placed in the Carriage House. The room was absolutely amazing. It was spacious, beautifully appointed, with two king-size beds and a divider that gave us just the right amount of privacy. Spent three days in Gettysburg w my 13 yo daughter and 14 yo son. The large room w a suite / pullout sofa and two queens was perfect. I had an experience similar to many other reviewers with great, thoughtful staff and overall great experience. Did a lot of research on all of the other boutique hotels in Gettysburg and chose Federal Pointe Inn and made the right choice. Similar experience to others regarding the manager. Very unprofessional and uncaring, as well as inattentive. The location is at a busy intersection. Tons of traffic. Very expensive. Antiquated climate controls, which equals too hot or too cold in rooms, regardless of time of year. Not worth the money, noise, or any of it. A truly awful spot.
