Lovely, unique inn. The renovations made to this historic schoolhouse are very well done. Very nice, clean and comfortable. The Pub was also good. We would stay here again
This inn has easy access to downtown Gettysburg. I found the room nicely appointed and representative of Gettysburg. It was built in 1896 and has been lovingly restored. The room was very clean and welcoming. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I strongly recommend a stay here if you are visiting the area.
Great historical building use to be a school.
Very nice historical hotel with attentive service staff, but the location was terrible. Lincoln Highway (Rt. 30) is 25 feet from the wall (we were on the 3rd floor) and 2 nights of overnight road construction shook the entire building. Complained but the road crew didn't care. Were up both nights at 2:00 so very little sleep. Wouldn't return, even with my white noise machine.
Higher end than I expected. Excellent effort and communication from front desk - made me feel really valued as a customer. Room was spacious, very clean, comfortable. Loved the extra "sitting area" with a door in the room. Walking distance from downtown. Easy parking. The themostat was not adjustable - would have appreciated knowing I could have asked for a fan... but it was only mildly uncomfortable and they were most apologetic.
