Beautiful historic hotel located in the city and walkable to downtown restaurants. Former schoolhouse curated into an elegant setting. The rooms and hallways have antiques and tasteful decorations. There is a pub & restaurant located in the basement. Free parking. Cons are no elevator (staff will carry your bags to the room), no breakfast, and traffic noise.
My husband and I decided at the last minute to try and snag a night away for our anniversary. I’d seen pictures around social media of the Federal Pointe Inn and fell in love with The Principal Suite. I didn’t expect it to be available on such short notice but by some stroke of luck, it was!
