This was my first colonoscopy, done at age 65. Honestly, it was first rate, and so was everyone at CGR, from: 1) the lobby receptionist to 2) Alexis the prep nurse who got my arm ready to 3) Angela who wheeled me into surgery and administered my mild anesthesia to 4) Sarah who was attending and greeted me in the surgical room to 5) Doctor Fazili who also greeted me and talked to me about what to expect and performed the colonoscopy to 6) Therese the exit nurse who wheeled me out to my wife and our waiting vehicle. I was really worried about getting my first colonoscopy, but Doctor Fazili was so kind and reassuring. She answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable.
My intake nurse was wonderful and took time with me to answer all of my questions. I had a 3:00 PM appointment procedure and I felt rushed after the colonoscopy -It seemed like I was being pushed out the door, when I just needed to rest for five minutes before leaving. I was in a lot of pain. Dr. Fazili answered all of my questions, but peeked around the curtain to tell me the results of the exam instead of coming to my bed and speaking to me.
Dr Fazili is very easy to talk to. She is a warm and very friendly doctor. She gives advice that’s helpful.
She is very humble and great at what she does!
