Dr. Fayyaz put me on a medication that caused severe mental issues and other physical side effects. I don’t fault him for putting in the medication because there is no way to know until you try something. However, when I told him my experience and how it damaged my life and put me in the ER, he denied the medication could cause that. He did an endoscopy on me and my throat has literally never been the same. Years of issue after issue. Dude is terrible. Now that he left BMG I actually am getting help from another doctor who didn’t dismiss me like this guy did.
Doesn’t understand certain medications he is prescribing should NOT be taken longer than 2 weeks due to severe side effects and long-term mental health issues. Talk to a pharmacist before taking anything this man prescribes
Yeah, he made everything worse for me. He wouldn’t listen to my concerns. Insisted on a medication that has caused me trouble in the past. No testing was offered. No follow up. I know BMG doctors offer simple solutions to get as many appointments in. That is how Dr. Fayyaz operates. Only offers things I’ve already tried and have failed. There is no resolution to your issues. There is no plan to get your health back.
He said I had ibs. When I said if I get a note from my doctor saying that, my job was willing to make accommodations for that diagnosis. He refused. I lost my job
Dr Fayyaz takes his time to really get into specific details regarding your GI health issues. He leaves no questions or issues left unanswered. He is a very caring physician and your health care and well being is his primary focus with his patients.
Initial meeting. Asked appropriate questions. Nice and friendly demeanor. Office admins very attentive to scheduling, etc. no issues.
I suffered for weeks from a bowel infection because this guy wouldn’t do anything. I was only told to take more fiber and drink more water by him. Well that isn’t going to fix an infection is it? Fayyaz is a waste of time and money
Put me on famotidine indefinitely. Didn’t monitor me on it. In fact there was no follow up at all. I ended up in the hospital due to the severe side effects. ER doc said point blank this med is only for 14 days, any longer the doc should be monitoring me. Dr. Fayyaz, you are a lazy doctor
