I had went to them back in june n the girl tht did my hair messed it up. So fatou said tht when i come back ill only pay a certain price for the style tht i wanted... Well sad to say the day i did show back up(3 months) later i didnt get the price tht i was told... They actually chared me full price n then told me tht they didnt have the hair for the style i wanted.. Very unprofessional... Inconsiderate. Was told to come at 8am noone was there it was 930 when they finally started on my hair. Was promised three girls to do my hair....the owner took one of the ladies from my hair to do her hair. Then made the other girl go do someone else's hair and left me with the one. Will never go again.

I like the way they do hair but they are just to high and this time when I got my hair done because they did my hair 2 times this makes my third time, they had me waiting for quite a while and I got home at 10:00 almost with my mom that day.

Went to them for the first time on Friday. They were very QUICK & they did the braids really NEAT. I have very small braids and they got done in 3 1/2 hours. 3 people worked on my head. Most def worth the $$$$$$

I have been getting my hair braided at fatou african hair braiding for 8 years ,and i have had every style u can think of from twist to micros to corn rows and i must say i haven't had any issues . Every shop has issues but the owner is very understanding and is always willing to fix any problems u have . U have to be an adult about ur hair just like a pair of shoes u buy if sum thing is wrong u take it to the store and complain and get it replaced or repaired, same with ur hair fatou will repair it . The ladies was late opening up the shop! Then told us they don't give discounts! The professional thing to do is compensate for tardiness! They all played African music loud! You should make sure your customers are comfortable at all times! It's like they run it on how they feel which is to not business like! They charge a arm & a leg so the least they can do is make sure you are happy! The price is expensive !
