Back in December we got an estimate from Kyle Buckminster. Then we paid for materials and scheduled the job in January. They canceled / rescheduled on us LITERALLY 8 TIMES. I demanded a refund from them and they said the money "was gone." I had to call my bank and they investigated. Turns out Father and Son Floorcraft took our money AND NEVER ORDERED THE MATERIALS. Not only that but their manager Nicole Hunter never even apologized for how badly they screwed us, taking the money, making our project take that much longer. Thi... read more
We actually had a kitchen floor installed in January as promised, but have found that the three steps going down to our back door were not done properly. Part of each step was sawed off and the "nose" on each is now coming off. Of course, we can't reach anyone at the company to have them come out and do the repair. I honestly don't think the installers had any idea what they were doing in the first place, so I wouldn't want them back. But now we have to buy some new flooring and hire someone to make repairs. Ordered flooring on January 26th. Kyle said it would be there in ready for pickup in 7-10 days. After 14 days I call the store looking for an update. I speak with Nicole but she's not able to help and needs to "find" Kyle. This goes on for 4 weeks. In the last two weeks I have learned that Kyle is no longer with the company, there's an arrest log for his arrest on January 4th in the store, and he's a crook that walked out on general contractor jobs in 2013. Kyle sent us a quote for hardwood installation . We decided to use him but there was no response to a direct email to him as well as his office manager about setting up a date. I left several messages on the office voice mail. Absolutely no response from anyone !!! Red flag for a poor business.!
