About this business

History Established in 1984. Once upon a time there was a family called "Nature" . Naturally mother nature was involved with her natural stuff, while Father Nature was in the family kitchen putting out exceptionally good and natural food. Then one day after a long talk over dinner, mother nature encouraged him to make his dream a realty. In spring of 1984, Father Nature's Cafe was established in Tarzana CA. After many successful years we moved to Old Town Pasadena. Now we are called Father Nature Lavash Wraps. Father Nature ... read more

Not bad A bit on the dry/chewy side at times, but their wraps are generally pretty good. The line and wait for your order is probably the worst part, as you dodge customers coming in and waiting alongside you.

This place is worth it for the Seinfeld-esque atmosphere. Once you order there is no place to sit so you have to mill around in the no-man's-land between the door and the register. You spend most of your time dodging the new customers and the people throwing their garbage out. There's also the guy behind the counter who always looks depressed no matter what you order and the woman who makes the sandwiches seems resigned to her fate. The food is typically good middle eastern type stuff which you usually regret after eating.

They get friendlier the more you go I love Father Natures. I worked in Pasadena for over a year and my co-workers and I would walk there for lunch all the time. And I ALWAYS ordered my wrap different, and they never got it wrong, so I don't know what the deal was with that other reviewer. They were never rude, just not overly friendly, but the more we went in and were continually nice to them, they warmed up and we've even gotten some smiles and friendly banter. But hey, even if they were rude I would eat there all the time.... read more

The Soup Natzi's Wrap Place Don't get me wrong, the food here is good. However, if you would like your wrap, sandwich or salad prepaired in a different way than it states on the menu, you can forget about it. If you ask for no garlic sauce you will get extra. If you ask for no turnips you will get a turnip wrapped in a tortilla. I really like their #9 with no turnips and humous instead of garlic, but out of the 20 times ive ordered it they have gotten it right about 4 times. Now many people don't think the service is that fr... read more

Excellent food. Great service, but can be slow at lunchtime (best to call ahead). I've been eating there on a regular basis for 5 years now. #9 or the cheese baguette w/ chicken breast.

Quick, efficient, tasty, healthy - that's a wrap at Father Natures. They're large, they're full of salad, they're freshly made - why go anywhere else?
