I eat here at least once a week when they're not fighting the water-apocalypse. Amazing food, great people. I hope they get their flooding situation sorted soon because I'm jonesin'!

Fat Patties is the best place to get a burger in Southern Illinois. The staff is always amazing, and willing to offer suggestions. The atmosphere is classic Carbondale, so make sure to bring sharpies for the table!
My first time eating here, and I loved the food and was low priced. I would highly recommend the chili cheeseburger and fries.

I've been here before, years ago, but my kids got a take out menu at Castle perilous and I've been dying to eat here. We went today and had a delicious meal! Everyone cleaned their plate and I have picky eaters, That never happens!! Everything was perfect and one of a kind. The waitress was very nice and accommodating. Will definitely be coming in more often.

That was our first time but won't be our last! the Fresh ground beef, seasoned just right on that fresh awesome bun! The homemade potato salad was the bomb!! Best Burger in town or anywhere I have ate! No filler in that burger! Taste like the home ground beef on the farm!!
