We were there with a group of 14 people. Our wait was about 15 minutes because the place was jam packed!! The music coming out of there was exceptional!! My husband and I had the combo Rib and chicken plate. Tender falling of the bone meat, the chicken was truly good. The sauce was good. I petsonally like my BBQ. sauce sweeter, but our overall experience was "Excellent". Oh yes, o forgot the sweet potato pie! It was amazing!!! Definitely recommend this place!

Proof there is a God. Ordered the half slab and quarter chicken and life has been good ever since.
The best RIBS that you will find in the ATL......this place is A MUST HAVE! THE FOOD IS GREAT !!!! YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED! !!!

I have been through Atlanta a few times and never took the time to drive out to Fat Matts, well this year we did and it was AMAZING! We ordered a full rack of pork ribs and a half roasted chicken. Wasn't long and we got the 2nd rack coming! Our servers were fantastic and really took care of us (Shout out to Shannon)! Best BBQ in the state, and a close second to Piggy Park in West Columbia SC. Always a great experience when I eat here.
