The fish and chips had no flavor. The fish had no flavor of fish. The tarter sauce was not tarter sauce at all. When my hubby asked for more tarter sauce the girl that was our server asked another server which sauce was tarter sauce? Maybe we just the day we had dinner it was a new employee that didn't know what was the correct sauce. Maybe a dill sauce at best. The clam chowder tasted okay but not worth the money they charged for both meals. Will never go back to this location.

The food was wonderful. I ordered the steak sandwich. The seat was perfect. It was about an inch thick. Surprised how big the portions of food we had. Highly recommend to get a great meal.
We have been going to this place for over 30 yrs. Unfortunately it has gone down hill. It needs some upkeep because it's starting to look bad. The food was horrible. How to you manage to mess up a turkey club. Didn't even eat it. :/
Second visit and not disappointed. Wait was short, we sat outside & staff were quick to set up umbrellas. We tried the crab cakes and our breakfast orders were great. We will definitely be back on our SLO visits. Also, staff were great and an older gentleman coming around clearing tables, talking to customers made our visit that much more enjoyable. He took an interest in everyone.
Had fish and chips and my friends had the open face lobster sandwichs. All was amazing including the clam chowder AND the service. Been going to Fat...Cats...for years. If there is,a line...ve patient...worth the wait!
Excellent service, with pier view! The food was so delicious and tasted very fresh! We will definitely be back when we're in the SLO area.
Food was mediocre, and our server, Katie was less then pleasant. A young man that greeted us and got us drinks, refills, napkins, and extra ketchup was very nice. I specifically went for their bread pudding and they were out (I understand that, it happens.) my son ordered a chocolate cake and that's exactly what it said on the menu.
