RecommendedStopped into fatbobs garage in Layton today (a Saturday)...thinking I would have to purchase an entire install kit to get a couple shims I needed for a ring and pinion I was installing (install kit that came with my gear set was lacking any shims thinner than .010). They took time to walk me into their shop to talk to their gear specialist, he helped me select an assortment of shims from his own spares that made it so I could finish my project. Fat Bobs was a disaster , quoated me 2,800 for lift without shocks , after havi g my Van for 2 weeks I went in and bill was up to 3,900 dollars , by the time the springs and shocks were on we were up to Round 4,200 ,,,,, we to take Van home and it had no brakes , then thay charged for mastrr cylinder they never installed , still no brakes so they ended up replacing booster and master cylinder they didnt install first time ,,,,,,,, tried to charge me a seco d time for master cylinder , this o ly took around 3 mo ths from star... read more
