Had severe dehydration from illness several days ago. Yes, I could drink water or Gatorade. But I was 2nd patient in for the day and I was dizzy and definitely could have used an IV. I hate writing bad reviews of fellow PAs but grow a sack and give some fluids. Can always check electrolytes afterwards and call if severely deranged. Ended up going to IV hydration clinic and got two liters of fluid and felt much better. Do more than the minimum for veterans! Do not go here if a VA patient for urgent care.
