Bought a chevy Equinox 2010 in July, car drove ok for about 1 month, started hearing sound from engine, took the car to mechanic shop, and was told timing chain needed replacement and mentioned, replaced timing chain for about $1950, then two month later, the car transmission went out. Called the place explained the issues seen on the car, and they told me that they do inspection on car, but having timing chain and transmission out in about 2 month period, indicate that the inspection done was not that thorough. I had a horrible experience. Was sold a lemon...the cars are not inspected they sell unsafe vehicles and clear codes, patch up issues just enough to make it seem like it's in good condition and then over the next three weeks it was one thing after another. Safety features such as anti lock brakes and power steering had major issues. Was told they would make it right only to back out a couple weeks later. Cigarette holes, a broken side mirror, leaks, broken USB port...and that's only naming a couple of things. I have had one ... read more
