The Legend begins with beer—Busch beer to be exact. But this was just the beginning…In 1921 Anheuser Busch decided to open a drinking establishment in the picturesque river town of Alton, Illinois. A yellow brick building known as Bon-Air, was constructed right on the corner of three streets, 4th, Pearl and Broadway. Can't recommend this place highly enough. It is a bucket list kinda place. The food is inexpensive and amazing.

You can’t go wrong if you go eat here, cheap GREAT FOOD. Every chance we get me and my fiancé visit this place.
Lively, outgoing establishment with both indoor and outdoor seating, coldest beer and best drinks around, excellent food with very reasonable prices. Great people-watching. I like this place a lot and return every time I’m in the St Louis area.
You can’t go wrong if you go eat here, cheap GREAT FOOD. Every chance we get me and my fiancé visit this place.
