The Legend begins with beer—Busch beer to be exact. But this was just the beginning…In 1921 Anheuser Busch decided to open a drinking establishment in the picturesque river town of Alton, Illinois. A yellow brick building known as Bon-Air, was constructed right on the corner of three streets, 4th, Pearl and Broadway. We been going since the 90s..we love it! Good Food Great Atmosphere!
I was treated so bad waitress was so mean and racist.. It took her 30mins to even take my order then when she did she thew my plate on the table.. And said I hate serving these broke niggers under her breath and the manager just told her go take another table said nothing about her remark to me and she still works there..
The beer was half cold when it was given to me. Food was tough and so crowded. Not a place to go and pay for a nice time away from home.
