The program was developed by Lance Farrell -- a long-time taekwondo competitor and teacher -- specifically to combat obesity and to help people develop healthy lifestyle habits by incorporating the fat-burning, strengthening, and endurance-building aspects of competitive martial arts training into a course for regular people who aren't interested in sparring or contact drills.

I applied on their website. They called me, on the phone they told me the different plans they have for purchase and that I can start next week, according to them on the phone, they have multiple levels beginners, etc during the challenge so I don't have to be a pro right away. I put a down payment and make a schedule for next week. Entering my third week into the 10-week program, and I can't say enough good things about my experience at Farrel's. It was something I really needed after years of neglecting my fitness. Made some tough decisions back in 2018, ended up in a semi truck for 3 years and I let my body go. Being fitness minded, it was soul crushing. The team at Farrell’s Waukee have been so supportive and fantastic to work with! I didn’t know that the 10 week program would include friendships being built for life!! I’m loving every workout and I really love that they are constantly checking you on form so you don’t get injured! The workouts are intense but soooo great!!
