Farrar's bistro and bar is a favorite local joint. They smoke their meat on premises in a Traeger grill and use locally sourced products. Barbecue falls off the bone. They also have a respectable happy hour menu.
1st time there, my son and I both enjoyed everything.

We like most are local regulars and as such are extremely happy to have Farar's on this side of town. Food is always delicious and service is great. Once the nice weather hits the patio can be quite busy.

We were very disappointed in the service at Farrars. I had a rare opportunity to take my son out to dinner. We waited for over 25 minutes while the booth seats sat empty. I asked if we could sit at a booth and she said we needed to wait for a table to finish eating. A few months ago we went as a family to try their happy hour. We arrived a few minutes after five and the hostess argued that happy hour ended at 5:00 even though their website clearly says 6:00. When I showed her the website she said it was out of date...
Great Friday evening meal with relatives visiting town. We will be back!
