Went here three years ago and loved the experience. So this trip we came back expecting the same high quality food. Didn't get it. Fishy, grainy oysters (at least they took them off the bill). Stone fruit was not that great. I got the ribs and loved them the first trip, so I reupped. Overdone on the outside, completely fatty on the inside. Bleh. My husband got the burger, bland and cold. Always excellent. I would like to see a few more items on the lunch menu and because you are in Cabernet country, a few more upper end Cabs to choose from. Had the cheddar biscuits and roast beef sandwich, this visit. Both delicious.
My experience was poor at best . No accommodation for food allergies such as peanuts and fish . No food subitition , ridiculous up charges for small modifications. Their answer to every request was basically no, asked an extra plate , still waiting 😳.
Great farm to table food - very nice patio - in wine country - not much better than this.
I'll start with the good. Nice sized bar and drinks were generous and service good. Food was really good. Tried the cheddar biscuits, street corn, artichoke, deviled eggs, pork chop, and finally the chocolate cream pie. Enjoyed it all. However, we had a reservation and showed up 30 min early to hang out at the bar. Checked in with the hostess so she'd know we were there early in case a table opened up early. We had to wait for a table but lunch was worth it, hostess called me on cell when table was ready and the waitress was very friendly and her recommendations were helpful, I loved that they grew their veggies and fruits. Highly recommended!
