I honestly can’t say enough good things about the people here. As someone who really struggles going anywhere, they really helped turned my nightmare of a day (and what I thought would only get worse because… medical.) into less awful. They were so kind. Jai and Linsey both listened. They truly are what medical care should be anywhere. The lab lady was really nice too. Didn’t complain or say anything about me having my almost 2 year old with me. None of them did. They were so patient, with him and me. Thank you all, really.
Worst experience at a va since the early 2000, not sure if New Mexico Va just sucks or if it's the current administration. I've always been greatful and happy with the services of the VA, I don't use them often just if I absolutely need it or a check up every few years. I was running a fever over 103 , visibly not feeling well, went into the empty clinic and they just said nope your not from here and handed me a paper with phone numbers. What a waste of time. The mental health provider met me for 5 minutes and tried to change what I’ve been taking since 2015 because of another medical issue I’m having because they have guidelines. It’s the same treatment plan I’ve been on previously when we were in the Tricare East region. Give me a break! Everyone is so scared of loosing their license these days they can’t even practice medicine and take care of their patients .
