Chef Andy went off the menu to make me a full English breakfast, the best I've had here in the States. My wife had her favorite fish and chips, the cleared plate and satisfied smile said it all. The service from Charles was extremely attentive but not overboard. Our entire visit was perfect from start to finish. Oh I almost forgot. Old speckled hen on draught (drool) We will be back often.
Absaloutly Great Food, not many pubs in England you could get food this good.
Wonderful...pan fried trout was light and fresh with perfectly sautéed green beans. Butch had the battered fish with chips. Breading has a light touch with just enough crispy, and lovely potatoes, sliced thick, but not too, flavorful and perfect with a splash of malt vinegar. Oh, and the side cup of Peter's mushroom sage soup, (memories of sitting at the bar at The Gallery Bistro) was delish. Thanks for keeping it on the menu!

Amazing! My friend and I decided to come here and eat for the first time today. We drove from an hour away to go shopping and thought we'd give it a try, we were NOT disappointed! Our waitress was so very sweet and the food was phenomenal! I loved the atmosphere too! We both had the fish and chips with the side house salad, it was to die for! We had the Scottish egg, guacamole, cottage pie and the kids had burgers (the kids regretted not getting the cottage pie I had suggested). Jed's service was awesome and by mid meal we were going on his suggestions alone. We ended with some bread pudding and chocolate cake. We took my mom there for her birthday, as she loves eatery's that are not your common chains. She loved it. We will definitely be back to see what's next on the menu as it changes per what is fresh per the local farmers. Great place!!
I dont usually do this but this place defiantly deserves it our server was a sweet girl (didnt get her name) she knew all about the foods and we took he suggestions and boy was she right. The soup was to die for! Everything was 5+ stars,will be back no dout
