great lunch spot – Ginger lemonade is great
Rude I had made a reservation and had to cancel it the day before. When I told the lady answering the phone she said ok and hung up. Did not even ask for my reservation name.
Fresh and fabulous food I occasionally eat here with coworkers. Like the variety on the menu. Food is fresh and fairly healthy, large portions. Pumpkin ravioli was excellent! May have to wait for a table during lunch.
El Segundo eatery brings recipes of the countryside to the urban scene. – In Short Set in an open farm-escape space, this quaint restaurant offers a large selection of homemade, gourmet comfort food. Family recipes from the French, Italian, Mediterranean and American countrysides collate to form a diverse menu from the popular walnut and pomegranate chicken to the handmade pumpkin ravioli. A pleasant yet novice waitstaff serves up fresh and heavily seasoned dishes accompanied by veggies or fries. Local South Bay patrons mix ... read more
Crowded place but creative and tasty dishes – The roofed outdoor patio is a nice idea but there doesn't seem to be enough space to pull it off correctly. The menu is interesting with meat dishes and great veggie (even vegan) options alike--but be sure to specify if you want the vegetarian dish because some items double as meaty and meat-free. The salads are big and delicious but not all portions are heaping. Desserts are pretty and tasty as well.
not great not bad I have to say that I was not totally impressed by anything. I did love the outdoor booth we had! The food offered is a little too Americana for me. Americiana done well, though.
Best food anywhere – This restaurant is seriously like one of the best i have ever been to. The food is outstanding, creative and abundant. The decor is cool and comfortable and the staff is very friendly. Upscale and casual. Don't expect fine dining. I recommend this restaurant to everyone.
lunch time is crowded – I had the Walnut and pomegranate chicken stew it was a good portion size. My friends had pasta and hamburger, the hamburger comes with homemade garlic fries (lots of fries), which they enjoyed very much. Negative comment is on the chicken stew, I would recommend using white meat. Small space but so far so good.
a restuarant with attutude and not fresh stuff – I ordered the tuna salad and the waitress swore to me that it was fresh but it was not it tasted and looked like tuna out of the can it was very bad and the waitress never offered me any other choice and I had to pay for it even though I just took a taste of it the carrots in the salad looked like canned carrots so just avoid it neither the service nor the food is good... save your money
