PLEASE - PLEASE - help HB1778 pass House Monday. I am not totally anti FB I have FB insurance. Do not like paying $35 fee for membership when I don’t agree with what my fee is being used to sponsor. Thanks if anyone even reads this.
Stop fighting Bill 1778 which supports stiffer punishment for animal abusers. I have rescued countless animals, most abused, then dumped. People should pay for the bad things they do to innocent animals that can't protect themselves. Also, you do realize that most people who abuse animals eventually start doing these things to people. What if the next person is your child? Remember you could have prevented it by supporting the bill to punish animal abusers.
As a direct fighter for animal rights I will be switching insurance companies. I will not support an insurance company that adds to the kill list that is on my desk every morning.
Not treating farm animals the same as domestic pets. Your lack of support of HB1178 is shameful. You lost my business when you fought with puppy mills in AR a few years ago, but this is more icing on the cake. Get it thru your corporate skulls and quit trying to spread fear that farm animals will be treated as domestic pets. Don't any of you own dogs that you love?
Stop lobbying against stronger penalties for animal cruelty! What does that have to do with your company and why would you be against punishment for those that abuse animals?
A company that actively seeks to suppress animal cruelty legislation, this time it's HB1778, is not a company I would ever choose to support. Shameful.
Here I am shopping for homeowner's insurance and I see HB 1778 being opposed by AFBF. Shameful. Sad.
It's heartbreaking that you would lobby against a bill meant to protect animals. Shameful!
