I have been a patient here for over twenty years. I love this office. Dr Farber is a wonderful doc. During my twenty years as a patient I have switched from many insurances because of life events, lost job, etc. But that never stopped Dr Farber from treating me. I have psoriasis and a family history of melanoma of which my sister died/ serious conditions that I didn’t want to ignore as I have a disabled son to care for. Dr Farber is my hero. My husband has severe psoriasis that affects him physically and mentally. He is a machinist who suffered psoriasis all over his body and hands. His hand would bleed every day after work. He was so self conscious with his appearance that he locked himself away from everyone including me . Dr Farber was able to treat my husband's psoriasis and give him back his life again. Dr Farber is truly a gifted doctor. He went out of his way to help me. He really knows his Dermatology. I went to him for pigmentation on the skin. I was ready to pay a couple of thousand dollars to get my face done. He refused to do a cosmetic procedure on my face because he was concerned that I might have a skin cancer on my nose. I agreed to let him remove the spot on my nose. It turned out to be a basal cell skin cancer that Dr Farber treated. This guy vastly oversells his equipment. I wound up paying over $2500 for scar revision with a "state of the art" laser with zero results.. I didn't mind being taken as much as the disappointment the treatment..
I go to the Philadelphia office, I like that I'm not waiting forever to see him. He is very professional and informed with my type of moles which are a lot. I finality found a doctor which seem to really care about me.
Dr Farber is a great doctor. He took his time to give me the best care and to answer my questions. He was wonderful.
I went to Harold Farber for laser hair removal. And it was a complete scam. For a small area such as 4 inches x 6 inches he charged me $400. Not only that, but he wanted me to come back for 5 more sessions!! That's $2,000! He is way overpriced. Not only was he trying to scam me with high prices, but his laser did not work at all, no hair came out. I understand it was only the 1st session. So i didn't expect to see lots of hair come out.
