It was a nice experience. I was in a rush to get an oil change so I stopped by on my way home from work. Luckily there was no one in line, so I was serviced right away. They immediately guided me with a light inspection, checked under my hood, topped off water, etc. and began doing my oil change. They definitely helped me get that done and proceed to the rest of my day.
Recently moved to the Wash DC metro area. I found these guys on the car talk wesite after I had a bad experience at a local dealership. The dealer had told me it would be almost $4000 to fix my car, and by the way if you trade it in they have a deal for me until the end of the month. What a racket. I had the guys at Far East give me an estimate which was initially $1800. While there they checked over the car and saw 2 items the dealer did not even tell me about . I went to have my engine check light to see if there was anything major going on with my engine. The mechanic was nice and asked a few questions to narrow down specific items that he wanted to check. He also looked for maintenance concerns and educated me on my car as well as the importance of scheduled maintenance service. The whole experience was great.
