I wanted to avoid leaving a rating but I don’t want someone else to experience what I did. I went in for a takedown, wash, and Fulani braids. However, the person that took my hair out did so sitting in a chair seated much lower than the salon chair. Instead of her standing or sitting on a stool like everyone else, they leaned my salon chair back and basically pulled my shoulders back and to the side for her comfort. I was able to get a last minute appointment to get some twists crocheted in which was great. I didn't have time to blow dry my hair prior to the appointment and either that bothered them or is not their speciality so the staff was extremely rough on preparing my hair before doing the cornrow base. She was combing and blow drying with no care to my scalp or hair breaking. The only reason I’m not giving one star is because they did finish my hair. Did I like it? Not really, but they finished. Everything was seemingly fine until the end. It bothered me that when I walked in (there was one lady working at the time), The lady was on the phone with her friend and wouldn’t get off to even ask what I wanted to do with my hair… I didn’t get the name of the ladies working on my hair.
