I was honestly disappointed with my recent visit to Famous Dave’s in Downey. The experience started off fine, but the food and service didn’t live up to expectations at all. I ordered Dave’s Famous Burger, and it tasted salty burnt, bitter, and very dry. I also tried the Ultimate Burger, and unfortunately, it wasn’t any better. For the price — nearly $20 for a single burger — I expected much higher quality.
