We have visited this location several times in the past and had positive experiences but today,it was not so. We arrived around 1pm and it was not busy at all, maybe 1/3 of the tables were full. My husband ordered a beer and the first time the server went to get his beer from the bar it wasn't ready and then she disappeared for 10 minutes before she went back to the bar to get it. RecommendedBest waitress ever. So sweet with the toddler with us. She said she had 15 grandchildren. She was a rock star and the food was delicious
As good as I remember from my last visit 10 years ago. Love the catfish with dipping sauce.
The service was good. I ordered a pinã colada, and it was the best I've had in recent memory. I also ordered the Texas style brisket. (I married a Texas man who can compete with the best of them.) Although it was moist and tender, it wasn't like any Texas style I've ever had or done. I didn't notice a smoke ring when it was supposedly smoked. Also, there was BBQ sauce instead of dry rub.
