In the area from Ohio for the week. Made it for lunch, perfect portions to get a good taste of different items. Two meat plate, with one side and corn muffin. Added a 3rd meat and chili. Hot link sausage, brisket, bbq chicken w beans. Sausage was just spicy enough to not ruin the taste of the other items. Brisket was melt in your mouth, very tasty. Pretty good. Ribs outstanding as was the chicken. Brisket had no “bark” like KC or Texas bar-b-que. Cole slaw heavy on the mayo. Beans spicy and good.

We ate here last night and were pretty disappointed. This was supposed to be a celebratory dinner for school being out for our kids. We arrived around 7:30 and it was not that busy - perhaps 4-5 other tables. Our drinks (lemonade, chocolate milk, tea, and two bottled beers) took 30 minutes to arrive at our table. Our food took over an hour to arrive at our table. When the food arrived, an entire glass of tea was spilled on one of our party members - all over his lap, all in his food. Awesome dinner, awesome place, and our waitress was fantastic! We have really missed Dave's since it closed in Gainesville, so it was good to get back. Boneless wings with Devil's Spit!
