Where's the meat? This would be a 5 star rating if we weren't so disappointed in the size of the "full rack baby-back" ribs. This platter meal was A-OK in every way except that the portion is about 1/2 what it used to be. We have been fans of Dave's since he opened the first store in Minnesota way back when. But, at the current price and serving size, I'll just buy Dave's sauce and smoke my own baby-backs. We really feel cheated.
Definitely family friendly Famous daves was recently named best resturant to bring the family to in the Twin Cities. I wholeheartedly agree. It was difficult finding restruants to bring our daughter to shortly after she started eating on her own. Famous daves is VERY family friendly, Not only is the food great and a reasonable price for the portion size that you get. It is great fun. The ambiance is vey entertaining for all 3 of us. great We love going to Famous Dave's. The service has always been great. The food especially never lets us down. It is consistently great food whenever we go. The resaturant is also kept clean.
Very Good This restaurant came very highly recommended by several friends and so our expectations were high. I am happy to say we were not a bit disappointed. Great Barbecue We have tried to meal for 4, and liked all the components. Also, the salads are wonderful. I love the variety of Barbecue sauces. The service on our various visits has been very friendly. The place is clean and has a nice atmoshere.
First Impressions Last! Well, I read the review and we had to go. We were elated by the great service and staff...and then came the grub. Oh my! You just have to go. You will love it too!
Sunday at Famous Daves We had never been to Famous Daves, but friends of our's invited us to come. What a joy!! We totally enjoyed the food and the staff was very polite and quick. After our meal the Manager came to our table and asked how everything was and if we wanted to try dessert! Too full we told him but he asked if we could manage to share a pecan pie!! great service We have always had great service at Famous Daves. The food is great as is the atmosphere. Our kids love to go here. We would highly recommend this restaurant.
Famous Daves My family and I spend a lot of time at Famous Daves. They have a ton of barbiqued foods including ribs which happen to be my sisters favorite. They also have non barbiqued items such as huge baked potatos which I love. Everyone is always very friendly and they have good prices.
