Best Ribs in the area!!! The drive out to Gilroy is well worth it..The ribs here aree to die for!!! With 6 different sauces to choose from, large servings..It is absolute heaven!!! Then if you can squeeze in some room for dessert..they are all yum-O... Servers are ALWAYS friendly here and I have never been let down!!!
The Gilroy location has poor service, and average to above average food My party of 6 went to Famous Daveâs in Gilroy for the first time. Food was above average and some items were good, but service was very poor and the restaurant interior was low end. The bartender miss understood our drink order, and was not cooperating in resolving it. When seated, we were given 2 chairs, and had to wait SEVERAL minutes for 4 more. Our waiter was very nice, but overall staff didn't care at all about our experience. It's so disappointin... read more
Famous Daves A variety of food is served here, ribs, chicken, sandwiches etc. I've had the Chicken and was pleased with my meal, I'd say this is a tasty lunch option or for a group of friends.
OMG! The food and prices here where GREAT!!! Service not the best. We had a guy who was trainging to be a firefighter and was very tired, slow and not with it. Never filled drinks or asked if we needed anything else. His expressions where off the hook! If it wasn't for the great food and prices, we probably would never go back! Happy hour is Great also!
Watch your stuff!!! Went to eat there and when I left, I left my cell phone on the table. Went back four minutes later and it was gone. Only the server and bus boy clean the table. I complain to the manager and to the regional manager but no help from them. They don't have cameras in the room to see what happened. Will not go back to this or any other Famous Daves' restaurant. Protect your valuables unless you want them to go missing in an instant!
