Great Food – Quite simply the best BBQ I've had. Waiters & waitresses are courteous and always at the ready.
unbeatable barbaque – The ribs, bread pudding, drunkin apples, and corn muffins are the best I have ever tasted. Their roasted chicken tastes just like costco's, which is good. What I did not like was the atmosphere. It appealed more to hunters than families and it was as dark as a bar. The restrooms could be little cleaner. Besides that eveything was clean and comfortable and I forgot all about when I had the ribs.
I wish Dave were my brother... – This place is great! Best BBQ in SLC (I actually go to the one in Layton), it's noisy enough that your kids will fit right in (there's even a roll of paper towels for when your 4-yr old inevitably spills his drink), and service is fast and friendly. I've thought about getting a job there just so I can eat there more often!
If you LOVE BBQ this is for you! – I want great taste, good value, & an appropriate atmosphere. Famous Daves has all the above. Most SLC restaurants cater to the bland pallet no guts same old, same old, blaaaa! Let's compare a few of the favorite SLC BBQ shops 1.) Sugar-House BBQ is kind of bland and not near as generous as FD's. 2.) The Q on the other hand reheats dry, over cooked meat then they try to hide that fact by smothering it in an average BBQ sauce, besides that, they are over priced. oh my what yummy eats – want BBQ Famous Daves is the place, food was outstanding, atmosphere was great, service was fast and efficient. Great quality for a good price. If you haven't been you must try!!!!! Go before 6pm if you don't want to wait to get in.

The bomb – This was one of the better places my wife and I have eaten sence we moved here 8 years ago we lived in california before here and there are a lot more choices there then here but this was very good Thanks
Some tasty tasy BBQ – Try the BBQ chicken with pulled pork. It's tender and tasty! The selection of sauces at each table are great. A vast variety. A good place for a group dinner.
Husband loves, I think it's so-so – My husband loved the rib tips, I'm not a huge barbeque fan so I got a salad, wasn't that impressed! Most of the time steakhouses have good salads, but I thought it was just so-so
