My frig has been not cooling down. Drew from Famous Appliance was prompt, dignosed the problem and determine the solution. His service was really good. Very friendly. Helped me to understand the problem and why. I would recommend Famous!
We had a problem with our oven. We called famous appliance and they were out the same day and had the part on their truck. They had us back up and operational before dinner time. Thank you for your promptness, politeness and very exceptional expertise. I will recommend famous appliance to all my friends and family.
The repair man was rude and condescending. He was also aggressively intimidating and made multiple remarks that were snide, derogatory and mocking. I would not let this man in our house again. At a minimum, they will charge you $170 to come to the house and diagnose the problem. The $60 they quote up front isn't accurate.
This company charges double retail cost for parts and tells you it's their cost. They also obscure the part number so you can't look it up online. I called multiple appliance companies and they were all nearly half of what Famous bid. Don't use them. They will take advantage of you.
Stay away from this company! They are a ripoff and completely dishonest. The good reviews are posted by their employees and family members. Don't make the same mistake we made and take your business elsewhere or else you'll be incredibly disappointed as well!
RIP OFF ARTISTS! they quoted me $360 to install an ignitor on my oven. I thought that amount was excessive. I bought a $48 part and spent 1 hour and did it myself. Easiest $312 I've ever made.
Worst Service EVER! Beware of the mailer add with a $20 off coupon. They will NOT honor it. The tech came in and I told him what my oven was doing. With out even looking at it he told me it was the mother board and it would be $500 to fix. We didn't want to put that much into our oven so we decided to just pay the service call which was $60+tax. WORST Service EVER ** BEWARE by User171315 on October 3, 2014 The absolute WORST service EVER!!! I would not recommend these guys to my worst enemy. We have been waiting for 48 days (8/16-10/3) for our dishwasher to be repaired. What a joke. They diagnosed the repair wrong and charged us $387 for a part that we were told would be 3 - 5 days to fix...took over 3 weeks. Then when they put part in, it was not 5 minutes for the dishwasher to quit. Now another 5 days to get a 3rd tech out only to tell us that 1st guy diagnosed wr... read more
I was out of town when my wife called and announced our garbage disposal was out. I called and it was fixed the same day. I returned home a hero. Reasonable rates!
