Larry at Family Sewing has repaired my sewing machine before (I sent it through Joanne Fabrics in Kalamazoo), and I was completely satisfied. I have another/different problem with the machine and Larry just spent 1 1/2 hours with me on the phone. He was walking me through trouble shooting ideas so that I would not have to travel over an hour to his shop. What a kind, knowledgeable and patient man! I highly recommend Family Sewing ! they have been fast and efficient in doing repairs to all five of my sewing machines. I have brother, singer and juki machines and family sewing has taken care of all these brands of sewing machines.
I had my non working Bernina 1008 serviced a few weeks ago. I just now got around to using it. It is PERFECT! Smooth and quiet and it sews like a dream. Thanks so much Family Sewing! You are the best and the only place I will trust with my machines!

I took my machine to JoAnn’s for a 7 point cleaning and adjusting. I had a coupon for $39.99 or $15.00 off repairs. Someone lost my bobbin casing. Larry called telling me it would be $61.00. I figured I would be credited for coupon when I picked up my machine. No such luck.
I highly recommend Larry who serviced my machine. I was afraid it couldn't be fixed. A different shop wouldn't even try. He fixed it so well it hums like brand new!! And it's almost 35 years old!! Thank you so much!! I'm a happy girl!!
I absolutely love this place!!! I have been coming here for 3 years now, and each time I have upgraded my Babylock machine. I have been treated so kind and can't say enough good things about this place. my husband has accompanied me each time, and is amazed at how well they treat customers. I would highly recommend this place .
