As a recent retiree and resident of Florida, I was apprehensive about finding a new physician. Through Florida Blue network I found Dr Lewis and have had my first appointment, and completed a number of ordered tests in the Lee Health system. I am very very pleased with every experience to date and my retired-surgeon husband considers Dr. Lewis' evaluations and orders so far to be first-rate. I personally found Dr. Lewis to be very kind and attentive as well as very professional.

I would recommend Dr Lewis as a doctor but I would NOT recommend her office practices and how they treat you in the waiting room. My dad WAS a patient of hers. When he was first checking in for his first appointment, they were impatient as he took out his insurance cards, etc Then the next appointment, we were running late because of an accident/traffic and got there 17 minutes late. They made my 88 year old dad reschedule! They have no grace or understanding.

She is a very good doctor but her office and scheduling issues are totally unacceptable. Every appoint mentioned I had she was at least 1 hr late, the more waiting in the room. Also the office Manger never calls back after you leave a message. The office has a really bad customer service and whoever runs that office is simply not qualified to do so.

After a 1.5 years, she still never understood the purpose for my visits. She would either refer to another specialist or for bloodwork. The last time she sent me for bloodwork, she said I hadn't had any in a year. But I had blood taken 2 months prior, 4 months prior, and 6 months prior. I refused to go again. And I have never waited less than an hour for my scheduled apt.

I waited two hours and was supposed to have a physical examination. She refused to give me a physical because she said that she was behind schedule. She keep saying, Well bless your heart. I found that demeaning.
