They are very nasty when answering the phone I should of seen the reviews before even thinking about trying these nasty ass folks I wish I could give a 0 rating…if I find out they charge my insurance I will be letting my insurance that we had no services!!!!!!
The therapist never logged on for our initial assessment. We waited for 20 minutes and nothing. I called Family Insight and they said someone supposedly called me and left a message 2 days prior canceling our appointment. That is a lie. I had no missed calls or voicemail from them other than the ones confirming our appointment for today. I bet if we were the ones to miss our appointment, they would make sure to charge their $100 missed appointment fee. Very unprofessional and inconsiderate of our time. Do not recommend.
I wish I had taken the two negative reviews about this practice seriously before enrolling my daughter in it. I have a child who suffers from mobility and stability issue who was also in need of psycho-therapy and has been seen by one of the psychiatrist students at this location a few times. The psychiatrist and everyone who has seen her is well aware of her mobility issues since they see it every time we walk into their clinic. The therapist was late to every, the first time by 30 min. When I was late to an appointment, they had no trouble charging me $75 even after asking them to reconsider. And they are supposed to help mental health.
The agency has a high turnover of therapists; from my professional experience, my assumption is low pay with high counselor to client ratio. This is a national trend in under- paying educated and experienced counselors and in healthcare in general; the pencil pushers under - staff and over-assign the professonals "on the ground".
