I was given medication that has caused quite a bit of a medical problem. I am a brittle diabetic and have severe hypoglycemia to the point of losing consciousness. The medication I was prescribed lowers my blood sugar. I was asleep last night and thank goodness my blood sugar app alarm went off. I took a blood sugar fingerstick and my blood sugar was 62, at 52 I lose consciousness. I could die from hypoglycemia. I just took the medication at night before I went to bed.
