When my husband brought in my daughter's broken eyeglasses after she was hit by a car while biking, Dr. Frankel of Family Eye Care of Bolingbrook not only made sure she got a temporary temple bar put on until a permanent one came in, but sent my husband home with a card signed by the whole staff, a get well balloon, and a stuffed animal for my daughter. My husband and I went in for the first time today and had a great experience! We had Dr. Young and he was super nice and personable. The staff was also great and there was a good selection of glasses. We will definitely be going back!
Cannot say enough good things about Family Eyecare of Bolingbrook. Made appointment online yesterday, did all medical forms online. When I came in they did not see my appointment (so maybe call and make appt but they did have my forms) but they squeezed me in. They are very transparent about insurance coverage, costs of frames, and extra tests and services. The frames have prices on them so you know as you shop!! They educate you on purpose and benefits of tests. To top it off, your glasses are ready while you wait!!!
First time eye exam and glasses at Family Eye Care. It was convenient to both make the appointment and fill out the patient registration information online. Dr. Young explained each part of the exam and the differences between a healthy vs non healthy eye was. I opted for the retinal photograph instead of dilation which I avoid. My VSP insurance listed them as a preferred provider which turns out saved me loads of money. There were plenty of glasses to choose from on the wall.
