Dr. Hendrickson is very knowledgeable and really helped me understand the issues in my eyes without just throwing eye drops/medication at me. I appreciate the time he takes to explain what can cause problems and how they can be resolved/helped. Ive never had to go to the eye Dr. before until I got shingles and unfortunately he wasn't the first Dr. I had to visit but I am happy I got a second opinion from him! Everyone in the office is very friendly.
Apparently calling into the clinic is a no no. Will go somewhere else
The eye exam itself was fine, but everything went downhill from there. When I brought in my own frames for new lenses, they quoted me $233.70, which seemed reasonable. I paid and left, only to get a call later saying they made a "typo" - the lenses were actually $370, not $3.70 as apparently entered in their system. Over $500 total for just lenses seemed excessive. I absolutely love family eye care. I have been going there since I was in the 2nd grade and now I am 26, so that tells you how loyal I am to them. I am always happy leaving because I get to see Kristy, shes the best. She always makes sure I am well taking care of. Shes always so sweet and amazing at her job , shes goes above and beyond at ANYTIME. It feels like home every time I walk in the door. Dr. Hendrickson is lucky to have her.
A little over a year ago I was looking for a eye doctor in Columbia because most of my doctors are in this area. I found Dr. Hendrickson online. Made a appointment, when in all went good. The front desk stuff was good. Dr. Hendrickson was excellent, took his time, explained everything well, just a very likable person/doctor. My eye glasses was in right before leaving for vacation which what I was hoping for. I love the look of my new glasses.
