Complaint Regarding Emergency Dental Treatment at Family Dental Group On Monday, April 15, at 9 am, I visited Family Dental Group in Fishkill seeking emergency dental treatment for a swollen gum around my upper rightmost molar. The previous night, I had been unable to sleep due to severe mouth pain. I was also scheduled to leave for vacation in Spain and Portugal on Friday, April 19. I Visited family dental today for the 1st time. It was such a great experience.. I was very nervous. They were so very kind and respectful. I went for a teeth cleaning. it was great.. great experience. I look forward to getting my teeth fix by them.
I am livid. I paid out of pocket to Family Dental for emergency dental work that I could not wait for my insurance company to approve. My insurance company informed me that I need to have the Dental Office request to have the reimbursement check made out to the patient rather then the dental office. I made that request.
