We have been with Dr. Johal since my son was 5 months ( he is 3 now ). We travel from Hamilton to see her. She released his tongue and lip tie when he was 5 months and we remained patients because the staff and facility are amazing. The lactation consultant being there as well is extremely beneficial and helpful when it comes to feeding and oral ties. Dr. Johal herself truly cares and is very genuine. This took a while for me to post as I'm still very angry at this whole thing. I am sharing this review for two reasons: • This is the second time Dr. Johal has refused to assist me. • I have since spoken to multiple others who have had similar experiences, and I feel it is important to share my experience. The first time I reached out to Dr. Johal was for my son’s airway difficulties. At the time, I was told she did not work with children between certain ages (approximately 1-5 years old). Finally a dental office that cares about its patients rather than their insurance. Holistic approach to dental/ health care is very important to our family, and they met every one of our checkboxes when selected an aligned provider. Dr Bhatt was incredibly gentle with our child, who had a terrible experience at another dental office. Dr Bhatt was assuring and comforting and put our child at ease while extracting 2 teeth. My husband and I are so happy we trusted Dr. Johal and her team with our daughters tongue, lip, and cheek tie releases. As you can imagine there were a lot of nerves but everyone from the front desk staff to Michelle, the lactation consultant, and Dr Johal were so welcoming and comforting. They are very knowledgeable and give great direction and information for everything that will happen through to the aftercare at home. We are beyond grateful for Dr. Johal and her incredible team! Our first visit was with my 8-month-old for a frenectomy, and we were truly touched by the genuine kindness, patience, and support from every member of the staff.
