We went to this dentist for a few months. There was some miscommunication between our insurance company and the dentist office. We called our insurance company and after awhile they got in contact with the Dentist (Bertram Hughes) so we could clarify why we were overcharged on services we're insured for. When I went to make a appointment for my grandson, I asked did they take medicaid. The receptionist said yes, l told her it was for my grandchild. She insults me and says not for adults. I look at her and said ok. She assumed I was on medicaid. The day of the appointment my grandson and I waited to be called. When they called him I couldn't go to the back with him. She explained what she was doing when starting with gum measurements then without me even asking she explained in laymen’s terms what the numbers that she called out mean for gum health, explained reasons for the difference in numbers and possible causes, and why it’s important to note them.
