The staff in this NICU are absolutely unprofessional and rude!! While visiting trying to see my granddaughter we were talked to like absolute trash. A nurse in the NICU made a comment that she didn't think anyone heard. Her comment was. My God this is like the 4th grandparent. People do have devided families!! I will be taking this as high as possible. Do better or find a new job!!
If you're looking for a birth experience that feels like a dystopian endurance trial—with a side of broth and Jell-O—this is the place for you! I checked in expecting a gentle induction for my “big” baby (who turned out to be completely average-sized) and ended up in a C-section after two days of starvation and diminishing pain meds. The staff meant well, and I’m thankful my daughter is here and healthy—but I wouldn’t call the process “empowering.” Bring snacks and low expectations.
If you must have your baby here, definitely bring someone who cares about you and is capable of advocating for when your needs and concerns start getting dismissed or ignored. Personally, I would absolutely go to any other hospital, especially if you go into labor during evening or weekend hours and know you want an epidural. I’m not sure about how they do during regular hours, but I can definitely tell you that LMH doesn’t adequately staff anesthesiology during off hours and L&D seemed more than happy to agressively gatekee... read more
I just want to let the staff at LMH Maternity they are all amazing. Every nurse there treated me and my wife with kindness and respect. Dr. Bennett was incredible, my wife directly credits her with giving her the encouragement she needed in the final moments of labor. Lastly no amount of words can express the gratitude we feel for Tori, the nurse who became my sons guardian angel. About an hour after he was born he had a breathing complication, and her attentiveness literally saved his life. I wish I could give more than sim... read more
