Our baby girl was born at Cape Coral Hospital last week, and I truly don’t have enough words to describe how wonderful our experience was. I felt so genuinely cared for. Every single staff member we encountered was kind & attentive. I especially want to thank Nurse Lindsay for coaching me through labor and being so compassionate and knowledgeable! Colette on the labor and delivery floor was absolutely wonderful during my stay, a long with my night nurse (sorry I can’t remember her name). She was so kind, patient, and caring the entire time. She was especially great with helping change the baby and calming her down, which made me feel so much more comfortable and supported. She truly made a stressful time easier, and I really appreciated everything she did for me and my baby.
I absolutely loved my experience birthing here at Cape Coral Hospital! Everything from waiting in triage to getting our suite, the postpartum care we received and the birth of our daughter- it was all EXCELLENT! I was so well cared for, my birth plan was honored (which was actually the norm for them) and it was obvious that the staff truly wanted to be there and enjoyed their careers. Birthed our son on 4/21 here with our OBGYN Dr. Deidra Duncan. The team here was amazing. We had a planned C-section and I was incredibly nervous and scared. Our team (Lisa, Ali, Becky, Donna and Danielle) made us feel as ease and did a lot to help keep me as calm as they could. Asked me what kind of music I liked but I was too nervous to answer and instead asked my husband and played Journey in the OR. One of them took pictures on their phone which was incredible as neither of us thought to bring a phone/camera into the OR.... read more
