I absolutely loved my experience birthing here at Cape Coral Hospital! Everything from waiting in triage to getting our suite, the postpartum care we received and the birth of our daughter- it was all EXCELLENT! I was so well cared for, my birth plan was honored (which was actually the norm for them) and it was obvious that the staff truly wanted to be there and enjoyed their careers. Birthed our son on 4/21 here with our OBGYN Dr. Deidra Duncan. The team here was amazing. We had a planned C-section and I was incredibly nervous and scared. Our team (Lisa, Ali, Becky, Donna and Danielle) made us feel as ease and did a lot to help keep me as calm as they could. Asked me what kind of music I liked but I was too nervous to answer and instead asked my husband and played Journey in the OR. One of them took pictures on their phone which was incredible as neither of us thought to bring a phone/camera into the OR.... read more
I absolutely loved my experiences here with both my kids. Dr. Baker and Wykes are both amazing. My nurse Julia was just the sweetest. I actually felt sad leaving the hospital after my babies were born because everyone there makes you feel so cared for!
