We just bought a 2003 GMC Envoy from Family Auto sales 2 days ago. My husband got in the car a today and it wouldn t go in gear. I suggested a linkage problem. He got under the car and sure enough, SOMEONE zip tied the linkage!!! I don t know if the mechanics at Family Auto did this or if they were just too lazy to go through the entire drive train when it was traded in. I purchased a car from family auto sales in Longview texas the next day less than 24 hours it would not start.I called and was told that once I drive it off the lot it was my responsibility. I understand that it was used, but it seems that a creditable car lot would make allowence for the 5000.00 sale they made.I would not recommend this dealer nor would i purchase another car from them.
i brought car back ten minutes after leaving lot with transmission problems and motor mount problems and sever power steering leakage they charged me 200 bucks to fix motor mount then refused to do anything about other problems it took the 2 weeks fix the motor mount and still had a payment due along with 2 hundred for fixing it i put 2500 down then another 2hundred for tags now got a car with bad trans and another 2 due for car payment and drove it for ten minutes reported to bbb they laughed at me said they dont care and t... read more
