Great Service make a bad morning so much better! – I have to say it has been awhile since I've been to First Watch, but today I just felt like that was the place to go for the way my morning had started. I just didn't feel like my normal social, chatty self. When I walked into First Watch, a young server named Kelly greeted me. Overpriced and blah – Nothing special about this place. If you ask me, way WAY overpriced and the food wasn't anything special.
Great Food!! – This place is wonderful! Their breakfast & lunch is delicious! I have been to this one & the one off I-10 & the food & service is great!
Downtown Tampa loaction going down hill – Used to go many times, but lately the side portions are very skimpy(potaoes are delicious, but you get a tablespoon full), and the freshness of breads have been iffy for their sandwhichs, service has been below par my last few times.

Screwed by a chain – This local favorite is hands down better than an overworked chain.
First Watch is First in everything!! – Since arriving in Sarasota, FL in 1995 I found this little spot called First Watch...the food is amazing at prices that would make Denny's ashamed of themselves...why you ask...because for basically the same price your get an outright gourmet experience and the wait...what wait? The Healthy Breakfast – This is one of the few restaurants...that offers many different ways to eat healthy,low fat, and flavorful meals. Its nice to see a clean dining area and a very friendly staff....eager to tailor your meal to your needs. I was going to order a glass of orange juice and asked if the had pulp, it did and she removed it...even after I said to not to go to the trouble...that I would order an apple juice instead....now thats service...
Very Overrated!! – Before my family and I tried FirstWatch's breakfast, we'd heard nothing but raves about the quantity and quality of food served. Turns out the place was/is totally overrated. Service was OK but the food was just ho-hum and the portions weren't something to right home about. I've gotten better and more food for cheaper prices at local hole-in-the-wall restaurants than at FirstWatch. The people who love the place can have it!!!
